Jameema John

Jameema is a provisional psychologist and member of the Australian Psychological Society.

She holds a Master's degree in Applied Psychology, with a specialisation in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Her professional journey has encompassed a broad spectrum of clientele. She has interned with children, teens and adults with physical and neurodevelopmental disorders and adults facing complex psychological challenges such as depression, schizophrenia, substance abuse disorders, and bipolar disorders.

She has also combined faith-based principles with psychological expertise through weekly lectures on Counselling which she delivered to staff at a support centre.

Her approach is client-centred and eclectic, drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities to craft individualised interventions. Her passion lies in supporting children and adolescents facing a myriad of challenges, although she warmly welcomes clients of all age groups.

Jameema is currently working through her professional provisional registration year after completing her undergraduate and 2-year postgraduate masters education. She moved to Australia with her husband in 2022 and is delighted to provide support to families within the Brisbane North community.
