Jodie Marchant


Jodie is a registered psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia, a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and is a registered Medicare Service Provider. Jodie completed a Bachelor of Psychology with honours through Central Queensland University (CQU). She enjoys working with children, adolescents and their families with various mental health, emotional, behavioural and social issues. Jodie's interest lay in the field of anxiety disorders for children and adolescents. Jodie's compassionate and understanding attitude helps her clients and their families feel supported throughout the therapeutic process. Jodie uses a variety of evidence-based therapy approaches i.e. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment-based therapy, interpersonal therapy (IPT), meta-cognitive therapy (MCT), schema therapy and skills training for parenting. Jodie also provides psychological therapy to adults with various mental health issues. As a client-centered psychologist Jodie enjoys helping people to gain insight into their problems, to help them to grow from their negative life experiences, increasing life satisfaction, potential and happiness. She enjoys working with clients of all ages and stages in life to reach their therapeutic goals.
