Shareen Taylor


Shareen is a registered psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and with Medicare as a service provider. Shareen has over 15 years experience working in both health and education settings and enjoys working with individuals of all ages. Shareen initially began her career working in Adult Mental Health services, and supported individuals facing many challenges including depression, anxiety and psychotic disorders. In 2006 she moved to London and began working as the Head of Special Needs Department in an Inner London secondary school where she worked with children with a variety of needs including ASD, ADHD/ADD, Speech and Language Disorders, Mental Health issues and Behavioural Disorders. On her return to Australia in 2012 Shareen worked as the School Psychologist and Therapy Team Leader for Autism Queensland and in 2013 made the move to private practice. Shareen enjoys working with children, adolescents, adults and families and has a special interest in ASD, anxiety and behaviour issues. Shareen is passionate about early intervention and is comfortable working collaboratively with educational institutions and other health practitioners to support individuals holistically. Shareen is an accredited Circle of Security Parenting DVD Trainer, Helping Children With Autism Early Intervention service provider and an experienced ASD assessor.
