Fees and Rebates

We offer a range of opportunities to assist you in seeking support for you and your child. We have listed some information which may help with regards our fees and rebates.

Generally, psychology and counselling sessions are 50 minutes in duration, and costs are advised prior to the initial consultation. Our fees range from $140 to $220 per session (see below for rebate information) depending on the type of service you are receiving . If you are experiencing financial hardship please ask us about our assistance packages.

The Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommends a 46-60 minute session rate of $241 for psychological services. All About Kids aims to keep our fees reasonable and therefore charge substantially under this rate.

Referrals

You do not need a referral to receive counselling or psychological support. You are able to call or email us, or simply book online to make an appointment. It is always a good idea to look through our therapists so you have an idea who may be a great fit for you. If you have a referral from your GP, Paediatrician or Psychiatrist under a government rebate system you will be able to receive a rebate for our service.

Medicare: Mental Health Care Plan
