| Vicky has qualifications in both education and counselling, including research at Masters degree level in early childhood behaviour difficulties. Vicky has both undergraduate degrees in psychology and postgraduate degrees in counselling and education, and more than twenty five years experience working with children and their families. She uses a variety of therapy techniques, ranging from Sandplay therapy to CBT and Reality Therapy. She believes that parents have a significant role in supporting and healing children who are experiencing difficulties and incorporates parenting support into her practice. Vicky offers a unique service, which crosses both the educational and emotional domains. Counselling, assessments, and educational consultancy are offered to children, parents and educational staff aiming to help children reach their potential throughout their childhood. | Jennifer obtained her Masters in Clinical Psychology from the University of Queensland and has been a registered practising Psychologist for 12 years in both Queensland and New South Wales. Jennifer has research qualifications at Masters degree level in understanding and treating depression. She has taught at QUT, UQ, Sydney University and UNSW. Jenny has also directed and produced a documentary about people’s experiences with infertility, and is currently working on another film about adults who are Carers of family members. Her counselling experience covers a broad range, including private practice, community mental health, infertility, and youth welfare. Jennifer has a special interest in child and adolescent mental health. She has a focus on supporting parents to feel confident about their skills in creating opportunities for their children and teenagers to build balanced and happy lives. |
Peter Cziwsloski Psychologist BA, BSc Hons, MEdSt Ed. Psych, Dip Teach, Dip Sch Couns Clinical Member of Queensland Assoc. of Family Therapy
Peter is a registered teacher and psychologist. He has worked for over 25 years with children and their families both within private practice and the education system. He has worked extensively in the area of behaviour management, disability and learning difficulties with children. He has a special interest in working with children, adolescents and their families, believing strongly in respect and responsibility. He believes it is his job to work with others in a “team” to notice what is working, what is not and what can be done differently. He believes people have the resources within them (courage, persistence, forgiveness …) to “stand up” to problem patterns and habits. It is important to understand the context in which a child and family lives. He works respectfully to achieve outcomes that you want. | Stefanie Selen Psychologist Bch. Psych, Post Grad Dip Psych Stefanie is a registered psychologist. She has worked closely with children and their families both within private practice and the child protection statutory system. Stefanie has worked comprehensively in the area of child sexual abuse, adolescent suicidal ideation and trauma with children and young people, as well as Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and anxiety. She has a special interest in working with children, adolescents and their families, and places a focus on strengths based support to assist and facilitate improvement. | |
